August 21, 2000 A New Ambulance Presented to Atyrau hospital by KazAir West Last week, the medical staff of the Atyrau area hospital received a gift - a beautiful new ambulance - from the honorary president of KazAir West, astronaut and Hero of Russia and Kazakhstan Talgat Musabayev. Mr. Musabayev flew to Atyrau especially for the ceremony to hand over the keys and registration of this newly equipped ambulance, which won awards at a Moscow exhibition. The ceremony was also attended by the area akim, Mr. I. Tasmagambetov.

KazAir West proudly announces another VIP-configured Yak-40 aircraft, tail number 87271, available for charter in Kazakhstan and the CIS beginning July 27, 2000.

This aircraft is based in Atyrau, Kazakhstan, and has twelve (12) passenger seats available, configured with 2 armchairs and sofa in the front section and ten (10) seats in the back section. This Yak-40 is equipped with an extra fuel tank which allows its maximum range to be extended to 2200 km.

The aircraft's crew measures up to the highest standards, and have extensive experience. All of our flight attendants speak English and help in establishing a comfortable and amicable ambiance on board.

On June 30, The Central Asian American Enterprise Fund completed a very successful flight in Kazakhstan on board the Yak-40 aircraft. The purpose of their flight was to transport the board of directors to and from their annual board meeting.

Since October 20, 1999 KazAir West has had an additional Yak-40 aircraft available for air charter, which is currently based in Almaty.

This aircraft has an 18 passenger capacity, and is in VIP configuration, meaning it has a VIP section in the front with two comfortable armchairs and a sofa.

As do all aircraft of KazAir West, this Yak-40 measures up to KazAir West's high technical and safety standards.
